Certified in Critical Incidence Stress Management, Sue Ellen regularly serves as a Red Cross mental health specialist during major disasters. She possesses years of experience assisting adult children of alcoholics and dysfunctional families as well as those living with a family member struggling with addiction, often employing acu-detox acupuncture to reduce urges and create calm. Trained in domestic mediation, Sue Ellen serves as a mental health team member in collaborative divorce. Throughout her practice, Sue Ellen emphasizes individuals’ strengths and values to develop their own personal approach to life’s difficulties.
Amanda Estill, MA, LPC

Amanda is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in trauma and depression. She graduated from Central Michigan University and has worked in community agencies for several years before beginning her journey into private practice. Through her education and employment opportunities she has had the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families on a variety of different mental health struggles and life events. She has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, this is a very effective treatment for traumatic events. Other forms of therapy she draws from include, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Tracy is a licensed professional counselor with work experience primarily with children and families in a variety of settings including: juvenile court/probation, partial hospitalization, community mental health, non-profit organizations, Head Start, and youth residential treatment. Tracy has helped individuals with parenting, healing from trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management skill building and various other life challenges. Tracy emphasizes a calm, supportive and creative, solution focused, humanistic approach with respect for each individual.
Phil Millerov, LPC, CAADC

Phil has extensive experience in the substance use disorder field in various capacities. He has worked in residential treatment centers as a therapist, been an administrator for prevention and outreach programs, coordinated federal grants, and moved agencies toward Substance Use Disorder modalities. He is currently licensed to provide mental health and Substance Use Disorder services in the state of Michigan. He also is a WK Kellogg Leadership Fellow alumnus and travels occasionally to facilitate training nationally. His areas of focus include; trauma, substance use, depression, college specific adjustments, LGBTQ issues, peak performance, anxiety, marital counseling, stress management, life transitions and adjustment problems, equity & diversity issues, grief & loss, self-esteem, sport psychology, and alternative interventions.
Nick Comai, LMSW, LLC

Nick began his journey reaching out to individuals experiencing chronic homelessness in Grand Traverse County. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in clinical social work from Ferris State University, while gathering diverse experience in living supports, community family case management, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, crisis residential, home-based family therapy, and outpatient individual therapy in Kent County. Specializing in trauma-based interventions and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, Nick also works in the treatment of addictions, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, PTSD, chronic physical health conditions, the culture of incarceration, LGBTQIA stressors, equality/diversity, relationship challenges, domestic violence, anger management, life transitions, grief/loss, and challenging behaviors in youth. Nick provides support for children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, and families, through a non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach. Nick creates a therapeutic relationship grounded in honesty, empathy, creativity, and unconditional positive regard to helping you discover your own unique life. Nick utilizes dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and Seeking Safety to help you cope with life’s challenges and achieve personal goals.
